NexTrex® Community
We work hand-in-hand with local organizations to promote the importance of recycling through our NexTrex® program. In 2022, Trex helped more than 3,300 community groups and schools recycle nearly 2 million pounds of plastic film.
NexTrex® Partners
When it comes to recycling, we know simpler is better. Our NexTrex® labeling initiative streamlines the process for retailers, distributors and brand owners to verify that their packaging can be recycled through our program. Eco-conscious consumers can easily spot the NexTrex® label on products and drop off discarded packaging at more than 32,000 collection locations in the United States.
Investing in Our Communities
Trex and our employees support a broad array of charitable organizations through donations and volunteering. Together, we contributed more than $400,000 to community causes in 2022.
Partnering With United Way
Through our longstanding support of United Way, we help improve health, education and financial stability in local communities. United Way of Northern Shenandoah, VA, honored us with a 2022 Gold Award as the branch’s largest contributor for the 14th consecutive year.
Supporting Veterans
Since 2020, Trex has donated $120,000 toward housing, transportation and family support for military veterans in partnership with the Yellow Ribbon Fund. We also matched employees’ donations to this effort.
